Apr 01, 2008 HP agents 7.7.0, 7.8.0 and 7.9.0 all have some real issues with VMware ESX OS. OpenIPMI driver install is incomplete and reports failed configuration in the logs but not to the installation script so you may not see the issue until you stop/start the agents or shutdown/reboot. #Install HP Insight Management Agents 7.9.1.
I have a 3 ESX cluster version 3.5 already installed. I also have HP insite manager (version 5.1 with SP1) installed on our monitoring server. (Which runs to look over our 3coms, network devices, ect) After running the scan it picked up all the servers including the ESX servers. However, the health status shows as 001cMajor001d but my guess is that it is not seeing it correctly. I have downloaded the rar file hpmgmt-7.5.1a-vmware.tgz from HP0019s site but even after reading this instructions I am still a little lost. Still kinda new to this VMware.All help and input is appreciated
I keep reading about HP Insight Manager in various blog posts and Server Fault questions. I am currently working with 3 HP ProLiant DL360 G4's, 2 DL380 G3's and a ML110 G6. All have iLo installed and configured on the local network.
I would like to see an overview of the current server state I.e. Does server A need updating and if so click here to do so.

- Can I access all the iLO servers from one interface?
- Does the software need it's own server?
Additional question; most of the servers will be running the HP specific version of ESX 4.1. Is there a specific way to install any agents required on them?

You can access ILO interfaces detected on your network from one place. HP SIM will also associate the ILO interfaces with the physical servers for you.
The software should probably run on its own Windows (or Linux) server, but for the size of the environment you're describing, it can run in a VM. Fujifilm finepix printer qs-70 drivers. Here are the minimum hardware specs from the Quickspecs page:

**A note on the ESXi builds. I don't believe you'll get full hardware health info from any systems earlier than a G5. You won't be able to get ESXi 4 to run on the G3 servers (not 64-bit capable).
