I have read on slashcam, that the 4:2:2 codec in the Canon HF G10 camcorder is not activated. Is it possible to activate it somehow? I know that in case of some devices you can use a custom boot software, that unlocks the software based restrictions. I saw such a software for the Canon Eos 550D.
